Dr. Craig Loftin graduated from the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001.
Following two rigorous internships at the Animal Specialty Group near Los Angeles, California (one year rotating internship, one year surgical internship) he and his family settled here in Vancouver

Dr. Craig Loftin graduated from the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001.
Following two rigorous internships at the Animal Specialty Group near Los Angeles, California (one year rotating internship, one year surgical internship) he and his family settled here in Vancouver, Washington in 2006.
Dr. Loftin's professional interests are in canine and feline wellness and geriatric medicine, cancer treatment options, and soft tissue surgery.
In 2018, seeing an unmet need in the region, he began the planning and building process for the Whipple Creek Veterinary Hospital.
Our animal hospital offers wellness and sick patient appointments, surgery and dental services, digital x-ray capability, on-site and reference laboratory testing and pharmacy services for our patients.
We have the capability to diagnose and treat medical conditions such as:

Thyroid diseases
Kidney diseases
Other urinary system disea

Referral to the excellent board certified surgeons, internal medicine specialists, cardiologists, or cancer specialists (to list just a few) in the area is always an option, and we will assist you in that decision-making process.
We do not routinely perform orthopedic (bone and joint) procedures, nor do we perform elective cosmetic procedures.
Approaching each patient with a personalized, practical approach and striving to educate and provide options best suited to the specific needs of the patient and client.
Our goal is comprehensive wellness care and education tailored to the needs of each patient based on their age, breed, and lifestyle.
