About Us

Dr. Craig Loftin graduated from the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001.
Following two rigorous internships at the Animal Specialty Group near Los Angeles, California (one year rotating internship, one year surgical internship) he and his family settled here in Vancouver, Washington in 2006.
Dr. Loftin's professional interests are in canine and feline wellness and geriatric medicine, cancer treatment options, and soft tissue surgery.
In 2018, seeing an unmet need in the region, he began the planning and building process for the Whipple Creek Veterinary Hospital. 

Laura is a Licensed Veterinary Technician who joined our team in early 2025. She focuses on client education in a variety of topics including nutrition and weight management, and is also a licensed animal massage therapist, a treatment modality thant can aid in mobility, increased bloodflow, mobility, and even pain relief.

Maria has been a member of our team since the fall of 2024. In addition to assisting with examinations, Maria also cares for and monitors our dental and surgical patients, and is known for her skills with "spicy kitties"

Arlene has been a member of our team since the beginning of 2025. Arlene is one of the primary points of contact for clients, and manages scheduling, billing and record keeping.

Michelle has been part time with our team since before we opened in 2019. When she is not managing another hospital, Michelle assists with examinations and treatments. She is also cross trained as a CSR.
